Fun Outdoor Activities Near Manila

I’ve compiled a short list of my outdoor activity blogs for those seeking a fun and budget-friendly rendezvous this summer. All of these places (save for Baler) can be done on a day trip. Hopefully, this will give you ideas on how to make the next month or so a summer to remember. Bring a few hundred pesos more because the rates might have adjusted already due to inflation. At any rate, it’s always best to have a buffer just in case of an emergency.

A few friendly and important reminders: Please give tips to your guides and instructors if you can. Please do check with your doctor first if you have a medical concern. Most of these recommendations are physically challenging. Finally, let’s all please take care to keep the places we visit as clean and as pristine as possible. The sad fate that has befallen Boracay should not be replicated elsewhere. 😐

Bonus tip for nature and art lovers

For those who aren’t really into hiking and surfing but don’t mind walking a bit in a pretty outdoor setting, I highly recommend checking out the Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo, Rizal. Why is this included in this fun outdoor activities compilation, you might ask. Well, a lot of the artworks in the said destination are spread across its beautiful gardens and open-air villas. If you love nature, art, and culture, then this is a great bet. Visiting the place is like having an active recovery day whilst appreciating the depth and breadth of our amazing local talent.
